The Granite Matrix

My how the time has flown by!! The end of 2009 was very busy, especially since I now off er pick up and delivery within 8 miles of the shop. The year ended on a good note. January slowed down some, but we seem to have kept some momentum. This branding of the area as "Grand" is a good thing - I hope the pettiness of some people will abate. Oh, well it can only hurt themselves. Hopefully the farmers' market for Berlin will get off the ground too.
Has anyone out there been to SaVoir Flare in Berlin? It is a fun place. Hopefully Elizabeth will become well known for her very eclectic items - mostle "green" and all very avant garde.
Wonderland Bookstore has moved to Main Street next to the White Mountain Cafe. We still have a book store in town. Hurray! It is a nice combination - cafe and books.
Gateway Gallery has just got some alpaca silver necklace and earing sets in - very pretty. For those of you who arn't familiar with alpaca silver it is an alloy of nickel, copper, zinc and iron, is silver color, but doesn't tarnish. Each set has a different stone celestine, leopardite, white onyx, serpentine, carnelian. We also have a couple pieces of afghan jewelry, very pretty and different from one another - one earthy the other more polished. Can you tell I am excited about these pieces?
