I'm planning a run down to Tilton to the BJ's down there...is there any interest in members of this group putting together a shopping list for me to pick up some bulk items down there...not sure if this is the type of "bulk" purchasing this group is designed for....but would be willing to see about at least getting a trial run on something like this going....I will be planning on going down either the weekend of the Nov 1st or Nov. 8th..

Monday and most Friday's daytime would work for me although I don't know how many others could do that.
Late afternoon's most days or early evening and weekends are ok. I'm flexible.

I received Robin's message sent this afternoon at 4:40 PM. Any time is fine for me although I would like to get 3 or 4 days notice.

Littleton is a hike for me time & gas wise but I really would like to have a hand in this. My time to meet is a little scarce though Mondays and Tuesdays during the day are best. When I do get over there it is usually on a Monday in the A.M. to see the Chiro. I try to save all my other errands over there 'til those days. Or maybe I can connect on line?

i was at the St. Johnsbury food coop the other day, and mentioned this (GM) coop to them. they said that there were a couple of such "home buying clubs" in the St. J. area, and that they were getting more and more popular. they also said that the St. J. Coop was, itself, experiencing more use...

that's terrific!!!! maybe showing here what kinds of savings are possible from bulk buying would induce more members!?! any examples of, say, how much one would save in terms of buying flour in bulk????

My math is off, we have 8 people interested and my neighbor said that 2 of her friends were interested! That would make 10!

What do you think?

I'm new at this so I'm thinking 12, 24. If we buy by the case we would have to break it up evenly. Could be 6 but we already have 7, some don't have computers so they can't join the group here on the site.
